Against The Grain is an exciting bluegrass that is noted for its smooth harmony and creative arrangements. They currently have four recordings released. The material ranges from traditional bluegrass to more progressive sounding songs with a contemporary feel. The band features three lead singers, which adds variety to the music. If you like hard-driving bluegrass with smooth vocals, give "ATG", a band clearly on the move, a listen. September’s fall jamboree includes The Country Boys, The Reece Family, Southern Prophets, Cross View, Jason Harris and friends and Doug Joyce and Friends. Doors open at 3:30 PM music starts at 4:00 PM at the Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church in the New Community Fellowship Hall, located .2 miles off Hwy. 58 on Springs Road (Rt. 680), opposite the Patrick ~ MORE ~ Springs Fire Department.
