A $50,000 grant for a new ambulance was awarded to the Ararat Rescue Squad to representative Barbara Curley by Congressman Rick Boucher and Ellen Davis, State Director of the USDA Rural Development office

Ms. Davis reported that of the $309,000,000 of Federal Stimulus funding awarded to the State of Virginia, $200,000,000 has been given to one agency, the Rural Development office.
