Here is the latest schedule of events for our Annual Virginia State Peach Festival celebration in Patrick County, Va.

VIRGINIA STATE PEACH FESTIVAL--PEACH WEEK SCHEDULE-2009-Aug. 6-8 THURSDAY, August 6 – Gospel Music & Singing at the Patrick Springs Fire House, Patrick Springs, VA, hosted by the JEB Stuart Volunteer Rescue Squad, Music by Singing Directors Gospel Land Quartet, and Three Not So Wise Men. Emcee: Kelly Ratcliff. Concessions available. 6:00-8:00 P. M. ADMISSION FREE FRIDAY August 7- Virginia State Peach Pageant at the Historic Star Theatre, 318 Patrick Avenue, Stuart, VA, Time: 6:00 P. M. (Tiny Miss Peach, Little Miss Peach, Junior Miss Peach, and Miss Peach). Lisa Martin will be our Emcee. Admission is $3.00 at the door. SATURDAY, August 8 – 5th Annual Folk Fair at the Meadows of Dan., U. S. Rt. 58 Business. In the business district on JEB Stuart Highway featuring Mountain Music, Heritage Demonstrations, Food Vendors, Craft Show, Belgian Horse and Wagon Rides, Music by the Country Boys, Aunt Orlean Puckett Play, Time: 10:00 a. m.-5:00 p. m. FREE. “A Simpler Place In Time� SATURDAY, August 8- join all your friends and neighbors for the traditional evening music celebration at Rotary Field. Bands: Sunset Drive and Upland Express and Downtown Boys. Gates open at 3:00 pm Music begins at 5:00 pm Ticket price: $12 advance, $15 at the gate. Children 12-under $5 (Ticket price does not include food) Advanced Family Package only $30 (includes 2 adults and 4 child tickets) Peach Ice Cream! Paul Farrar, “Cooking With Paul� will be there with home made ice cream samples. Various food, crafters and exhibits available. Barbeque by Southern Traditions.
