Approximately 2500-3000 turned out for the Annual Covered Bridge Festival at Woolwine, VA. Entertainment included music under the Star Pavilion Acoustical Tent, horse drawn wagon rides through the historic bridges, varioius food vendors and lots of local
Wade's orchard brought fresh peaches from their Woolwine orchard. Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Patrick County Historical Society provided educational booths. The Chamber of Commerce provided a Tourism Table for all the visitors.
Craft items include, ladies handbags, jewelry, wooden hand carved canes, chain saw art, doll clothing, wooden bowls, framed scenic pictures, hand made picture frames, and many other items.
