The fire at Stuart Forest Products was a devasting loss in the early morning hours of May 27, 2009. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
At the scene we had Fire and Rescue Squads from Patrick County and Henry County. There was a lot of personnel and equipment on site even at 9:30am. This will require a lot of clean up work.
Many thanks to our Fire and Rescue Squads for being there and getting the fire under control.
