Southside Business Tech Center gets $375,000 from Harvest Foundation

Apr. 30-Southside Business Technology Center was awarded $375,000 from the Harvest Foundation over a period of 3 years
Southside Business Technology Center (SBTC), a member of the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce, will use this funding for emergency fund for employer's having difficulty with the recession.
SBTC is located in the West Piedmont Business Development Center, 22 East Church Street, Martinsville, VA
SBTC does consulting for existing and emerging companies in the Southern VA area including Patrick County.
“The consulting services provided by SBTC help companies to have a complete and objective understanding of their internal operations and external environment, resulting in step-by-step approaches to increase efficiencies, decrease costs, maintain cash-flow and if feasible, expand their target markets,� said Eva Doss, executive director of SBTC. “The emergency fund will only be used in special cases where the given employer still has a future business potential but needs help in overcoming the recessionary period.�
