Patrick County Supervisors Vote to take issues to referendum

April 14-Patrick County Board of Supervisors voted late Tuesday night to take the Restaurant Meals Tax and Liquer By The Drink to the voters in the November election.
Further they will appoint a committee with representatives from each district to persue Land Use Taxation in order to give real estate tax relief to agriculture and forestry.
The Liquer By The Drink vote will be by magisterall district.
If passed, taxes from these new sources will give pressure relief on real estate taxes.
