Taxpayers Protest Assessment at Monday Meeting-Stuart, VA

And overflow crowd came to the Patrick County Board of Supervisors meeting on November 24, 2008 to protest the real estate tax assessment that property owners recently received in the mail.
The meeting was held in the County Administration Building in Stuart, VA, with in excess of 200 people showing up and making public comment. Many individuals did not get in the meeting due to space of the meeting room.
