Patrick County, Virginia jobless rate went to 7.0% in September, 2008 with 655 people unemployed.
This compares to 4.2% for Virginia as whole.
Henry County, was 8.8% and Martinsville was 12.3%
Patrick County jobless rate for August was 7.2% and 679 people unemployed.
