A large crowd of spectators gathered on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008 to observe the Civil War reenactment at Laurel Hill, boyhood home of Maj. Gen. J. E. B. Stuart, CSA

This event in beautiful Patrick County, VA is very popular with the serious Civil War Reenactors that come back year after year.
Other events at the site included music, period food, Black Rose Memorial Service, Women's Fashion Show with 1860's period dresses, Candle Light Tour, and dance.
