Our hometown favorite Patrick County High School Cougars are on a 3-game winning streak (Record is 4-1); and we will be visiting Bassett Bengal territory this Friday night for our district opener.

Our hometown favorite Patrick County High School Cougars are on a 3-game winning streak (Record is 4-1); and we will be visiting Bassett Bengal territory this Friday night for our district opener. Bassett (Record 4-1) is coming off a 17-20 loss to McMichael (NC) High School, so they will be ready for us no doubt.
The Fun Facts Radio crew will be at the game at Bassett; however to due technical limitations we will only be able to update the webpage with quarter by quarter scores. (Click this link for qtr-x-qtr scores) We will be back LIVE at home for Tim Goad Night on October 10th.

In other PCHS sports news... A shout out to Brian Pendleton and Parker Heath who earned berths to play in the Regional Golf tournament scheduled for Fincastle Country Club next Monday. Our JV and Varsity Volleyball teams have just started district play and are doing pretty good as well. Our Cross Country teams are about 1/2 way finished with their meets with the girls placing second by a point or two in some of the meets thus far and our boys placing about middle of the pack.
