Chamber After Hours-At The Homestead-Sept. 23-2008

Sept. 23 - The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce held Business After Hours at the R. J. Reynolds Homestead, and was it hosted by Piedmont Magazine.
The Reynolds Homestead is located at Critz, VA and is the historical homestead of tobacco mogul, R. J. Reynolds and his family.
The Chamber holds networking and socials with its membership monthly. It gives each business and organization a chance to showcase what they have to offer the public.
It is a great time for the membership to get to know each other and trade business cards. At this one the attendance was over 70 people. These events continue to be very popular.
Publisher Gary Corns of Piedmont Magazine and several of his staff were there to greet people and to share the story of their relatively new magazine.
The Homestead staff made all the arrangements for decorations and food. Thanks to the Director Ms. Kay Dunkley and staff member Lisa Martin.
Southern Traditions Catering, provided food and beverage service and was led by the owner, Chris Washburn.
All Seasons plant store of Patrick Springs brought flowers, plants and fall decorations as an opportunity to show off their products. Thanks to Mr. Stanley Fain.
WHEO 1270 AM radio station and morning show talk show host, Richard Rogers, covered the event and gave a report on it with the morning news on Sept. 25th.
