School Board votes to pay additional $50 on Health Insurance

The Patrick County School board voted at its’ regularly monthly meeting last week to pay an additional $50 per month toward school employee health insurance coverage. Dr. Morris cited one example of the coverage at the meeting.
Employees of the Patrick County Public School system will be paying a little less for their health insurance. The Patrick County School board voted at its’ regularly monthly meeting last week to pay an additional $50 per month toward school employee health insurance coverage. Dr. Morris cited one example of the coverage at the meeting. He also indicated that he is pleased the school system has been able to offer this savings to employee’s enrolled in the school systems health insurance plan.
Also Plans have been approved for the construction of new athletic and vocational facilities at PCHS as part of the Patrick County public school systems capital improvements. The school board has cleared the way to build new greenhouses at PCHS. Superintendent Dr. Morris says the project will be funded with federal dollars.
