New Verizon Cell Tower Project Under Construction-Stuart, VA

A new Verizon cell phone tower is under construction near Stuart, VA, close to U. S. Route 58 and the Town of Stuart

The location is just off U. S. Route 58 four lane highway, turn on Johnson Street and then turn on Mt. Calvary Church Road and at the end of the road. The site is approximately 1 mile straight up the mountain from Mt. Calvary Church Road.
The location is on what is commonly known as Rucker Mountain at about 2170 ft. elevation.
The tower will be 199 foot high
The construction company is Winterweiss, LLC out of Greensboro, NC
The cost of construction is $275,000
At this point a new road has been cut to the site. The tower base and equipment building is expected to go into construction soon.
