Two community workshops will be held in Floyd and Stuart to provide an update on the Rocky Knob Destination Centerpiece Project. Dates are: Sept. 4, 4:00pm in Floyd, VA and Sept. 5, 1:00pm in Stuart, VA
Purpose of the Workshops
Community members will be provided with an update on the Rocky Knob Destination Centerpiece Project. Local stakeholders will be asked to provide additional value to the project, by reviewing and verifying documents (local custom made maps) provided by the Rocky Knob project team. Community members will be asked to further support the data development efforts of the project team, by providing feedback and local perspectives / local knowledge of their respective communities.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is open to the general public. This workshop should be of interest to anyone concerned with community and economic development opportunities, particularly as they relate to Floyd and Patrick counties. Local government officials, local activists, business owners, and the general public are encouraged to attend.
