Town of Stuart Kicks Off Revitalization Project-Stuart, VA

The Town of Stuart, VA kicked off it's Revitalizatin Project on June 18, 2008 that includes the Central Business District
The Town of Stuart is located in Patrick County, VA and is the county seat. This project is funded by a DHCD (Department of Housing Community Development) grant in the amount of $931,000.
This project will do a streetscape, amphitheatre, facade improvement, blight removal, relocation of utility lines, water and sewer line replacement, upper story housing rehab, pedestrian connection (walking trail), decorative lighting, 3 new crosswalks, sidewalk repair, new signage, benches and trash receptacles.
K. W. Poore and Associates has been contracted to do the project management with Sam Tuttle as the manager. The representative from DHCD is David Adams.
The Town Manager is Terry Tilley. The Mayor of Stuart is Jimmy McHone.
