New Market Tax Credit Program-Stuart, VA-April 30-1:00p.m.

Information session on new program to help low and moderate income families with favorable interest rates.

Memo from: Patrick County Chamber of Commerce You are invited to attend an information session on a “new program to help low and moderate income families with very favorable interest rates.� It is a partnership between the private sector and the U. S. Department of the Treasury. The loan funds do not go to low income families but to projects that benefit them – housing, medical services, even commercial or industrial projects or revitalization projects. This has been arranged by Ms. Becky Coleman of Congressman Boucher’s office in Abington. While businesses and organizations from the region will be invited, the location of the meeting is Stuart, VA, at the County Administration building, 2nd floor conference room. DATE: APRIL 30, 1:00 P. M. lasting approximately 1-2 hrs. It will be open for questions. Guest Speaker is Mr. Larry Malone, of Kaufman and Canoles Consulting Those who are interested in attending should respond to this E-mail so that we can make sure the accommodations for the meeting is adequate.
