Everyone is going to the beach and I’m trying to get ready for the Peach Festival, so I’m bringing the beach to Patrick County!
The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce would like to invite the public to our Summer Beach Party, Friday July 22 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at 103B Stonewall Court in Stuart. Come out and celebrate while we gear up for the biggest event of the summer as the 29th annual Virginia State Peach Festival at Wayside Park in Stuart on August 19. Our July Block Party will feature something we have never done. A Shag Contest, come shag on the boulevard to the sounds of beach music master DJ Dane Joyce. Whether you’re a pro or just want to enjoy hanging with everyone this is your chance to cut a rug and shag.
We have joined up with Outdoor Entertainment to make this a night to remember, with free inflatables, including a water slide that is 30 feet tall! . There will also be food and drinks available from Hylton’s BBQ plus Stanburn Winery will be on hand presenting a paid wine tasting and the Reynolds Homestead will host a Beer Garden.
This admission-free, family-friendly event will feature something for everyone.
