The Virginia Covered Bridge Festival Committee is excited to announce the entertainment line-up for the 2016 festival.
The annual event located on Route 8 in the Woolwine community will be held on
Saturday, June 18th from 10AM to 3PM.
As in past years, live music will be presented at two sites throughout the day.
Music at Bob White Bridge site:
10:30AM - Vernon Harris and Shelley Roberts
11:30AM - The Compton’s from Floyd County
12:30 PM - Bluegrass and Clover with Ralph Haden
Music at Jack’s Creek Bridge:
11:00AM – the F.A.R.M. T.E.A.M. - Expect unexpected music!
12 Noon - Les Moore, a great rhythm and blues entertainer
1PM - Ted Alt, our local saxophone virtuoso
2:00PM - Sergio Gonzales, original guitar/ vocal selections
The festival committee is delighted to offer this day of music free of charge to the audience and encourages everyone to attend the event and enjoy these multi-talented artists.
There is no admission fee and free parking is available near both the Jacks Creek and Bob White
Covered Bridges.
