The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce would like to invite the public to celebrate warmer weather with the return of the Chamber Block Parties, presented by Branch Highways, on Friday May 27 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Now in its fourth year, the Chamber’s highly successful Block Parties offer an admission-free, family-friendly atmosphere with something for everyone.
Once again this year the Chamber of Commerce has joined with sponsor Branch Highways to bring you three big events, starting with the kick off May 27. For June, The Chamber once again joins the Mountains to Music events planned by the Crooked Road for a night of bluegrass music on June 16th. The series wraps up July 22nd with the traditional Peach Festival Kickoff Party, in preparation for the Peach Festival in August.
Live music will have everyone tapping their toes as they mix and mingle with the community. May’s band Silvertree will make their Block Party debut this year. Silvertree formed over 30 years ago, and recently four of the original members, Cecil Adkins, Dean Steele, Cindee Mason, and Bobby Rorrer have reunited and they haven’t lost a step.
Plus Stanburn Winery will be on hand presenting a paid wine tasting and the Reynolds Homestead joins us this year as a sponsor and will be bringing you a beer garden. Sample some of the State’s best wines or enjoy a frost beverage while celebrating the return of warmer weather with the Chamber of Commerce.
