January 11, 2015 – Youth Band Concert 2:30 PM On the Second Sunday of the New Year, January 11, 2015, The Reynolds Homestead will present the second in a Series of American Music Concerts at 2:30 PM in the Continuing Education Center in Critz, Virginia.

      *The Wildmans - The Wildmans hail from Floyd, VA and feature the talent of siblings Eli and Aila Wildman. Performing in Southwestern Virginia since their debut at Chantilly Farm Bluegrass festival in 2011, they have grown into an act featuring strong vocals and instrumental leads on mandolin and fiddle that are comparable to those of advanced adult players, with a freshness and style that is uniquely their own…Balanced with 6 years of classical and traditional music study at Floyd Music School, these kids are part of the ongoing musical tradition of the Blue Ridge Mountains!

* Gravel Road - Gravel Road  is a bluegrass band hailing from the Floyd/New River Valley area of Southwest Virginia. This talented group of 11 to 14 year-olds has developed into a powerful vocal and instrumental ensemble whose reputation and demand continues to grow throughout the region. Firmly rooted in tradition, with a fresh style appealing to audiences of today, Gravel Road is proud to help represent the face and future of bluegrass, gospel, and traditional string band music.

The band consists of : Adam Bishop-banjo, Nick Weitzenfeld-guitar, Lydia Bowman-fiddle,                              Addie Levy-mandolin, and Jared Houseman, bass

* Sharp Five – This group of Patrick County High School musicians has an ear for Jazz music and they are eager to share it with us. You’ll be surprised at their joyous accomplishments
