Tradesman Licensure Courses- Electrician
Journeyman, master plumbers, electricians, HVAC mechanics, and gas fitters are required by the Virginia Board of Contractors to take a pre-determined number of continuing education hours specific to their trade. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and Electricians must take three hours and gas Fitters must take one hour. Each course covers code changes, general requirements, impacts on the job, and special equipment included in the respective codes. The continuing education must be completed prior to the license expiration date.
