Pancake Days - Stuart Baptist Church - Stuart, VA --7:00a-2:00p. Men's Study Group will hold a Pancake Breakfast on a quarterly basis. They serve homemade buttermilk pancakes, sausage, homemade gravy, coffee, juice and water. Donations Accepted. "Broadcast: A Man & His Dream" Documentary - Star Theatre - Stuart, VA -- 5:30p. "Broadcast: A Man and His Dream" tells the firsthand account of Ralph Epperson starting WPAQ Radio in Mt. Airy, North Carolina in 1948. Ralph was a native of Patrick County, VA where he started broadcasting at his home in Ararat just outside of Stuart in the mid-1940's. The film documents the early days of the station through interviews with musicians, family members, and listeners who were part of the beginning of WPAQ. Water Buffalo Farm Tour & Tasting - Stuart, VA -- 11:00a. Short tour of Mulberry Farms pasture to see water buffalo, Including interactions with come of the animals followed by a tasting event. Tasting event will feature samples of four types of sausages and patties can be tried. Please wear shoes or boots that may get muddy. Event will take place rain or shine. $10 admission.
