The JEB Stuart Birthplace Trust announces a celebration of
Maj. Gen. J. E. B. Stuart’s birthday on February 7, 2015,
at the Mill Creek General Store, 541 West Pine Street
Mt. Airy, NC, from 10:00am-2:00pm.
This event will be hosted by the J. E. B. Stuart Birthplace
Trust and the Mill Creek General Store.
This event will include live music entertainment, and
refreshments including birthday cake and lemonade. This event is free and is open to the general
public.

General Stuart was born on February 6, 1833, at Laurel Hill,
Ararat, VA. He
died on May 12, 1864 after a mortal wound at the Battle of Yellow Tavern, near Richmond, VA. We give special attention to this famous
Patrick County, VA native, over 150 years after his death.
